How do I assign a manager or multiple managers to each of my employees?

In order to allow your managers to approve leave requests for their team members, you need to assign a manager to each employee.

  1. Under Employees, click on the employee's name that you wish to assign a manager to.
  2. Go to Employment Details, then select a manager or multiple managers.
  3. Scroll down and click Save Changes.


If you do not wish to have a manager for this employee, select "No manager". In that case, the admin of the PayrollPanda system will be able to approve leave requests. 

If you selected Multiple Managers, once one of the appointed managers approves or rejects the leave, it will be treated as "Approved/Rejected". The employee will receive a notification via email and it will reflect in the Leave Calendar and Action Log.

Please note that only employees that have signed up to the system as an employee can be appointed as managers.
